As Strategic Planning Manager you will play a pivotal role in bridging long-term strategy with annual planning and budget cycles, ensuring alignment across business lines, functions, and other stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4+ years experience in strategy, consulting or business development experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong ability to synthesize data into crisp executive-ready presentations
  • Experience working with internal/external multidisciplinary teams including R&D, Commercial, Legal, IP, Finance and Operations
  • High business acumen, demonstrated business planning ability, and strong leadership skills
  • Independent strategic thinker with strong ability to solve complex problems

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate the development of the strategic vision for the Diagnostic Business Area
  • Coordinate the DX Strategy & Business Development contribution to the Monthly Operating Review and Quarterly Operating Review as part of the Performance Dialogue process, working closely with Finance, Business Lines, and Commercial
  • Act as guardian of the Strategic Plan, which includes working with executive management to define yearly objectives, activities, and targets, including tracking and managing the execution to the strategic goals
  • Prepare sections of the annual operating plan / 5-year plan, in coordination with Finance, Strategy & Business Development, and other functions / groups
  • Coordinate and lead the DX Sustainability initiative, working with a cross-functional team on goal setting, performance tracking, updates to leadership, and coordinating with the Healthineers Sustainability team across various pillars (i.e., Access to Care, Net Zero, etc.)
  • Support Strategic Innovation, Market & Competitive Intelligence, Strategic Business Ventures, and Portfolio Management pillars within the DX Strategy & Business Development organization
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Translate strategic priorities into executable plans, establish success metrics, and manage governance to ensure accountability and transparency
  • Prepare impactful presentations and strategic materials for executive decision-making
  • Act as focal point for the strategy planning calendar, ensuring cross-functional integration of timelines
