Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning of initial team structure development and build, including candidate selection and interviews.
  • Ensure VP preparedness for key meetings, decisions, & engagements; proactively align with stakeholders, manage follow-up, and develop high-quality executive-level presentations.
  • Communication and facilitation of requests with cross-functional team members within the US Marketing OaR organization.
  • Chair weekly Integrated brand team (IBT) meetings in collaboration with VP.
  • Development of key presentations and preparation for governance body participation, including but not limited to: goal-setting, brand planning, go-to-market updates, budget coordination and financial submissions (LRS, LRP, etc).
  • Assists with special projects including select cross-functional projects that could include: Overall go-to-market planning; cash-pay models; and external partnerships to support launch excellence.
  • Helps build the culture and community within the larger team.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of commercial experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of commercial experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of commercial experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • US commercial experience (ie: marketing and/or sales and/or market access and/or patient support services) at Amgen, ideally on a launch product.
  • Additional ex-US experience not required but would be considered an asset.
  • Additional commercial experience in the consumer goods / health industry would be considered a very strong asset.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information.
