About The Position
Strategic Sourcing Manager (Cooling) for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to help us expand and scale the next generation of Oracle Cloud services. Our Global Strategic Sourcing Group is responsible for strategic decisions that impact suppliers cost, technical capabilities, and supply availability to deliver hardware to our customers. A Strategic Sourcing Manager must have a blend of business knowledge and technical requirements that enables them to make the best decisions for our customers and products. The ideal candidate will use their technical knowledge to negotiate the best supplier deals that meet and support our future growth. This Strategic sourcing role must have experience in sourcing Data Center equipment/hardware, with strong supplier relationships and hardware infrastructure knowledge. You will be expected to develop strategic sourcing category plans, and communicate those plans internally for cross functional alignment. A Strategic Sourcing Manager should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent Oracle Cloud to senior leaders and executives at our suppliers.
