Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering Management, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a supply chain management-related occupation
  • Requires 3 years of experience involving the following:
  • Legal, financial, and technology components of Sourcing
  • Planning, Sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management
  • Working with and building successful relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional groups across engineering, product, legal, finance, and operations teams, and third parties
  • Driving change and improving end-to-end processes
  • Working in a global and virtual environment, both internally and with suppliers
  • Program management, vendor accountability, and optimizing performance
  • Negotiating, and breaking down cost models and the drivers of ROI
  • Covering the Global Sourcing market

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta to strategically develop, implement and optimize sourcing and vendor management solutions.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner for a continuously evolving business.
  • Work effectively with Meta business teams as the primary Strategic Sourcing business partner and category expert, addressing supply chain and supply market opportunities and challenges.
  • Actively identify, track and handle issues and risks for the projects.
  • Identify, develop and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement and category management practices.
  • Prepare and manage outsourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents.
  • Drive legal, financial and technological aspects of outsourced programs.
  • Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
  • Apply knowledge of domestic and international contract and labor laws, as well as data privacy regulations.
  • Ensure program success through strong performance management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with the business.
  • Balance business requirements versus technical constraints and maximize business benefits.
  • Manage complex Sourcing projects (including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects).
  • Establish strong collaborative relationships with Strategic Sourcing Category Teams, Contract Management Teams, Procurement Operations Teams, and Procure to Pay to develop sound operational processes.
  • Ensure regional/local processes are aligned to Meta’s global operating model.
  • Understand and apply policies, standards and practices established for vendor management.
  • Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key suppliers through structured business reviews, supplier governance models, and innovation roadmaps.
