About The Position

Reporting to the Selfless Love Foundation (SLF) Director of Youth Programs, the Strong Families Program Coordinator will support the organization’s independent living initiative by providing consistent virtual support to pregnant and parenting young adults with lived experience in foster care. This position is responsible for the day-to-day implementation and coordination of the Strong Families Pregnant & Parenting program, including virtual support group facilitation, participant engagement, partnership coordination, and program tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, education, public health, or a related field (or equivalent lived/professional experience)
  • 3-5 years experience working with pregnant and/or parenting young adults, preferably those impacted by foster care or child welfare
  • Resides in Florida or has knowledge of Florida’s child welfare or family support systems
  • Experience facilitating virtual groups, workshops, or support sessions
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based practices
  • Experience coordinating or tracking program milestones for funder or audit purposes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfort using virtual platforms and digital tracking tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, shared databases)
  • Excellent people and customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize, direct and coordinate a variety of projects.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to SLF’s mission.
  • Effective communications skills: written; verbal and non-verbal, including presentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and a self-starter; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, launch, and ongoing implementation of the Strong Families Pregnant & Parenting program
  • Facilitate monthly virtual support groups for pregnant and parenting young adults
  • Coordinate quarterly virtual educational sessions focused on parenting, family stability, and wellness
  • Support the Director of Youth Programs in ensuring program alignment with Strong Families Tax Credit requirements
  • Maintain a safe, trauma-informed, and strengths-based virtual environment
  • Gather participant feedback to inform program improvements
  • Support development of program tools, guides, and virtual resources
  • Assist in scaling and strengthening the program over time
  • Conduct participant intake, orientation, and ongoing engagement
  • Support participants in developing and updating individualized Family Success Plans
  • Maintain regular communication with participants through email, text, and phone
  • Identify participant needs and connect families to appropriate resources and support
  • Manage parenting support requests, including diapers, beds, and essential child items
  • Track participant attendance, engagement, and milestone completion
  • Monitor progress toward eligibility for the ALL IN for Children in Foster Care Family Retreat
  • Provide encouragement, accountability, and follow-up to support participant progression
  • Maintain accurate documentation for internal tracking and audits
  • Track qualitative and quantitative program outcomes
  • Maintain attendance records and participant engagement data
  • Support reporting requirements for funders, audits, and internal evaluation
  • Assist in developing summaries and reports highlighting program impact
  • Coordinate virtual presenters, facilitators, and subject-matter experts
  • Collaborate with internal SLF teams and external partners to support program operations and participant needs
  • Serve as a point of contact for program partners supporting education, wellness, or family resources
  • Support coordination with ALL IN for Children in Foster Care related to retreat participation
  • Responsibilities may change based on the needs of the organization. The position will need to be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned.
