About The Position
Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Lincoln team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
- PE License
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience utilizing structural design and drafting software packages
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Masters degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design for varied and complex projects, integrating innovative engineering solutions across multiple materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry)
- Supervise/mentor junior staff
- After performing advanced structural analyses, present findings in clear, comprehensive reports
- Assist with the production of a project when needed
- Ensure delivery of completed designs that meet quality standards and project objectives
- Ensure seamless project integration and promote efficiencies through close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Assist with the development of standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team
- Assist with business development
