About The Position

Student Finance Representative Position Summary The Student Finance Representative helps students and families navigate the financial aid process from application to award. This role provides guidance on funding options, determines aid eligibility, and ensures compliance with financial aid regulations while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Guide prospective and current students through the financial aid application process Answer questions regarding financial aid programs, eligibility, and application requirements Review financial aid applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness Verify student information and determine eligibility for financial aid awards Counsel students on education costs, financial aid options, budgeting, and responsible borrowing Award financial aid in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines Maintain current knowledge of financial aid policies and regulations Partner with Admissions and other departments to support the student enrollment process Provide timely and professional support to student and parent inquiries Attend financial aid meetings, events, and semi-annual graduation ceremonies Qualifications Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of two years of financial aid, student services, or related experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to interpret and apply financial aid regulations and policies Work Environment This position is primarily based in a professional office environment and may require extended time working at a computer using standard office equipment. Requirements

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two years of financial aid, student services, or related experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Ability to interpret and apply financial aid regulations and policies
