About The Position

The Student Ministry Project Manager is responsible for providing project oversight and administrative support to the Student Pastor and the Student Ministry team as it seeks to reinforce weekly worship gatherings and events by creating environments and tools for people to discover new life in Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Student Pastor through calendar management; scheduling calendar items, and following up on appropriate action steps, requests, and responsibilities.
  • Support the Student Pastor in budget preparation, bi-monthly budget reviews, and Ramp card reporting to ensure the student ministry operates within the budget allotted and time allotted each month.
  • Execute weekly services alongside the 316 Campus staff team.
  • Purchase and maintain resources in support of Student Ministry at all campuses
  • Represent the Student Ministry team at ministry area meetings, as is necessary.
  • Schedule and support both the Student Ministry planning & execution of team meetings, off-sites, and team care/fun.
  • Create project plans and communicate timelines for Student ministry events. (i.e. Parent Open House, All Campus Volunteer Trainings, Breakaway, UNITED WKND, Rooted, Forge, Promotion Weekend, etc.)
  • Monitor assigned tasks to Student Ministry team members throughout project lifecycles and track progress to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Create and maintain effective organization, planning, and calendaring systems primarily in Asana that will support all Student Ministry projects and team management.
  • Actively create, update and manage Student Ministry metrics that include weekly attendance of kids, volunteers, next step decisions, and growth percentages.
  • Actively work towards improving our database system (Planning Center) and team project management system (Asana) for the Student Ministry.
  • Work with support ministries [Guest Services, Comm., Discipleship, Community Outreach] to execute Student Ministry events and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Identify breakdowns/problems and report them to the Student Pastor so systems and plans continue to move forward.
  • Review, evaluate, and implement changes as required by event/project needs.
  • Assist the Student Pastor with the launching of new campuses as needed.
  • Train, teach, assist, and implement aspects of the Student Ministry’s strategic plan to staff, volunteers, and parents within the framework of the mission, beliefs, and the core values of Bethlehem Church.
  • Participate in annual evaluations
