About The Position
Assists the unit with providing safe, competent basic nursing care for patients in accordance with approved competencies, facility policies/practices, standards, philosophy under the direction of an RN. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
Requirements
- Completed the first semester at an accredited Nursing school (ASN or BSN program).
- Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire.
- Concurrent enrollment in a RN Nursing program or a graduate waiting initial NCLEX.
- Recommendation from a School of Nursing Instructor.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior CNA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills.
- Proven work history of excellent customer service skills required.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times
