Position Title: Student Outreach Manager. Department: Annual Giving. Classification: Non-Exempt. FTE: 1.0. Work Schedule: The standard 40-hour work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm; flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors. Some evening and weekend hours required. Work Location: Hybrid. WFH 1-2 days a week. Will work on campus fully for the first three months. Hourly Rate: $21 - $23. Essential Job Duties: Management of the St. Olaf Fund student outreach program. In partnership with the Annual Giving staff, identify segments of constituents to be solicited through the outreach efforts and develop a solicitation, engagement and stewardship communication strategy for each. Manage the pre and post solicitation process, including personalized email, text and video with a focus on stewardship, pledge fulfillment and event attendance. Analyze reports and monitor progress to adjust the program to ensure goal achievement. In collaboration with Advancement Division colleagues, identify segments of constituents to be communicated with about engagement opportunities and develop an outreach strategy for each opportunity and/or segment. Manage the daily flow of data between the outreach platforms and Raiser’s Edge NXT ensuring accurate and complete data. Troubleshoot technical issues with multiple platforms, components (hardware and software) in consultation with other departments and outside vendors. Personally follow up with constituents contacted via student outreach regarding questions and/or concerns. Supervise, recruit, hire and train student employee staff. Manage the scheduling of 35 students to ensure maximum hours in an academic year. Hire and train 8 to 10 student supervisors to execute daily outreach. Student supervisors will provide leadership, mentorship and support to the remainder of the student staff outside of regular business hours. Hire and onboard student employee staff with an appropriate training plan and schedule geared towards creating a culture of philanthropy. Conduct regular student employee review check ins to discover training needs, tangible improvements and to deliver ongoing feedback. Communicate and track payroll information, including important deadlines, tasks and changes. Other Duties.
