What You'll Do Be an engaging leader who recruits and provides training and development to volunteer teams Keep an updated database of students in the ministry and their faith steps Lead and oversee discipleship programs, classes, and small groups for students, which includes recruiting and equipping teachers and leaders Regularly communicate with, care for, provide pastoral leadership to, and appreciate volunteer leaders at the North Dallas campus Oversee volunteer/leader onboarding process (placement, orientation, training, and mentoring) Oversight of budget Direct volunteer teams to identify and guide students and parents towards their next step in their faith walk Lead Student Ministry events including camps, road trips, mission trips, etc. Oversee LPE North Dallas campus weekend and mid-week student services/programming which includes room preparation, contextualizing mid-week curriculum, volunteer recruitment, staffing, and training Collaborate with the English student ministry in various activities, contextualizing as needed for the Spanish ministry Partner with parents through consistent communication and pastoral care Engage in community outreach by visiting schools and developing service projects Stay current with student culture, technology, and communication trends (social media, technology, etc.) Ability to contextualize curriculum and environments to the Hispanic culture
