Performs routine clerical duties including typing correspondence, records, and reports; maintaining student scheduling records, answering telephone and processing mail, must be proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office. Copies data and compiles records and reports. Operates office machines such as typewriter, adding, calculating, fax and duplicating machines. Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail. Files documents and maintains filing system. Posts information to records. Answers telephone and answers questions concerning the organization or department, or refers persons to another source of information. May be required to relieve Receptionist and other staff. Follows all guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by the Department of Labor and the organization. Other duties as assigned
