About The Position

This is a remote job that requires someone who is detail-oriented to listen to the interview audio files which Dr. Yan-Gonzalez will provide and correct a transcript which has already been generated through software by fixing incorrect speaker names, words, and noting other details that may be inaccurate or unclear.

Requirements

• Little to minimal prior experience.
• Ability to learn departmental processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on the research relevance of handwritten Chinese-language archival sources already collected by Dr. Yan-Gonzalez
• Translate selected handwritten Chinese-language archival sources already collected by Dr. Yan-Gonzalez
