About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno’s New Student Initiatives is hiring 1-2 students as part of the Orientation Support team. This hard-working team will provide direct technical, customer service and problem-solving support to students, families and staff during New Student Orientation registration.

Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
• 2.75 minimum GPA and on track to complete 30 credits/year
• Basic computer and communication skills
• Must complete FERPA training (can be completed once hired)

Responsibilities

• Respond to email, phone and text requests for registration help, change of orientation dates and guest payments and refunds
• Provide support for onsite check-in and registration during orientation summer sessions
