About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire Pack Life Ambassadors (PLAs) to work closely with the RLHFS Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to provide residence hall tours and promote living on campus. Pack Life Ambassadors (PLAs) will provide support for the Nevada Bound Tour days:

Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
• Candidate must currently live on campus or have lived on campu
• 2.5 cumulative and semester GPA, as well as remain in good standing with the University of Nevada, Reno

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to problem solve and work independently as well as on a team
• Strong public speaking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Engage with future/current residents to answer questions
• Lead NV Bound Housing Tours
• Promote the residential life experience
• Assist in creating a sustainable, strong community on campus
• Execute tours, tabling events, and assist with any other programming initiatives that the Department of Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services will have
