About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Submerged Arc (Sub Arc) Welder to join a growing fabrication shop in Northeast Tulsa. This Sub Arc role involves welding structural steel components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The Sub Arc position is ideal for a welder experienced in structural steel fabrication and production shop environments.

Requirements

• Previous Sub Arc welding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment

Nice To Haves

• Structural steel welding experience
• Experience in a production or fabrication shop
• Familiarity with overhead crane operation (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Perform Submerged Arc welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications
• Set up and operate Sub Arc welding equipment
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with fitters, welders, and supervisors
