About The Position

This position will be aligned to the C6ISR/ASW2 line of business supporting the MK48 product line, with responsibilities in support of the SPM activities. This position is responsible for supply chain strategy during proposals as well as all supply chain commitments (cost, schedule, quality & technical) during execution. This role will involve leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams through design, development, and production of large and complex subcontracts. As an SPM you will be responsible to lead multidiscipline Subcontract Management Teams through all aspects of a subcontracts life-cycle maintaining positive performance in the Technical, Cost and Schedule domains. Responsible for large and medium size subcontracts procuring complex systems and subsystems. Specific responsibilities will include: Establish action plans/schedules to ensure supplier successful delivery of contracted materials Development/Administration of Statement of Work (SOW) Contract deliverables; equipment and services on time meeting the program needs Establish negotiation strategies for new subcontracts and additional scope within established subcontracts Ensure problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner SPM will support proposal activities to ensure Lockheed Martin is well positioned with an affordable materials / services solution to win new business / proposals; specific tasks are as follows: Identification of potential sources of supply Development of source selection strategy, criteria and planning, including participation in Make / Buy assessments Develops request for proposal documents, ensuring program flow-downs are maintained Evaluates proposals for content and quality, challenges subcontractors appropriately Ensures subcontractors milestone payment plans are aligned with Program expectations and plans Participates in Corporate Proposal assessments and artifacts; INAR, EPP, Price Analysis, Exhibit 7 This assignment will require the need to travel to subcontractors or other LM Sites on an as-needed basis This assignment will require the need to travel to subcontractors or other LM Sites on an as-needed basis

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Subcontract Management and/or Material Procurement Management
  • Must be located near a RMS site listed on this position
  • Ability to obtain secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • FAR / DFAR experience
  • Familiar with using SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Previous Proposal Manager Experience
  • Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures
  • Experience working prime negotiations with USG
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Development of and presenting program/supplier assessments, internal/external program reviews and root cause and corrective actions.
  • Strong desire to develop and implement strategic initiatives and drive the team to execute
  • Demonstrated risk management experience
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
  • Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management
