About The Position

14416 - Substation Engineer (onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client, with less than 20% travel. Required: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required); Experience with NERC compliance requirements; Experience in substation engineering, construction, and/or management; Experience with asset management systems and document management systems; Experience managing substation physical, electrical, relay, and equipment drawings, as well as protection and control system documentation; Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (other engineering degrees considered with relevant experience). Preferred: Experience with Maximo and Documentum; Experience in power generation or renewable energy technology. Responsibilities: Supervise the contracting team to execute processes in the field; Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational readiness; Support the transfer of asset attributes into the asset management system (Maximo) and support the activation of required preventive maintenance (PM) tasks; Interface primarily with construction and design engineers, solar and energy storage project managers, and operations teams; Manage the storage of all drawings and "As-Builts" in document management systems post-construction; Support control center operations checkout processes and manage communication protocol tracking files; Ensure transfer and storage of important regulatory and contract documents, such as FAC, MOD, CIP, and agreements like PPA and GIA. Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required)
• Experience with NERC compliance requirements
• Experience in substation engineering, construction, and/or management
