About The Position

Days and Hours of Employment:
Half Day – 7:30am-11:30am or 11:30am-3:30pm
Full Day – 7:30am-3:30pm
Monday – Friday
Availability: Substitute teachers may be called as early as 6am on the same day as sub is needed.
Pay Rate: Half Day - $50, Full Day $100

Be professional and courteous in dealing with students, families, faculty and staff, and the general public
Follow all applicable school policies and procedures

Requirements

• Be a born-again Christian and member of a local church
• High School diploma required
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Background check required

• College education preferred

Responsibilities

• Take attendance as per teacher instructions
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
• Communicate with the regular classroom teacher at the end of the day by written note or email to provide an update on material or activities covered
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as recess and chapel
