Requirements
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required
- Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of
- Growth & Development (3 units)
- Child, Family & Community (3 units)
- Curriculum (3 units)
- Principles and Practices (3 units)
- Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development (Required for Infant and Toddler Teacher positions)
- Six units in Early Childhood Education Administration (Required for Administration Positions)
- Six units for Associate/Assistant positions
Responsibilities
- Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
