Requirements

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Twelve units in Child Development, including the core courses of
  • Growth & Development (3 units)
  • Child, Family & Community (3 units)
  • Curriculum (3 units)
  • Principles and Practices (3 units)
  • Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development (Required for Infant and Toddler Teacher positions)
  • Six units in Early Childhood Education Administration (Required for Administration Positions)
  • Six units for Associate/Assistant positions

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
