About The Position

Freedom House Ministries is open 24 hours every day of the year providing shelter for families experiencing homelessness. Through meeting basic needs and providing comprehensive programming, our mission is to walk alongside families as they work to become self-sufficient. Success Advocates manage daily tasks to keep the shelter running smoothly, including serving meals, housekeeping, and hospitality tasks. Hospitality is important to us - we want families to feel welcome and come out of "crisis mode" to be able to make decisions about the future of their families. Success Advocates play a vital role in helping families feel welcome by listening with empathy and serving as supportive, professional role models.
