Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. To learn more, visit wearedream.org. STEM Enrichment Specialists design and lead engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences for elementary students that spark curiosity and a love of discovery. Instruction should be interactive and activity-based, giving students opportunities to experiment, build, and explore concepts in creative ways. We are looking for instructors who can create dynamic lessons using accessible materials and simple experiments, while still delivering high-impact, engaging experiences for students. Activities may include building challenges, basic engineering projects, and interactive science explorations that support critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Specialists deliver 45 to 75 minute sessions to groups of 18â20 students in grades Kâ5, supported by two Youth Workers.
