Summer Intern Academy The Sierra Space Summer Intern Academy runs for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026 for undergrad students graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. Participants work on meaningful projects, network with industry experts, and develop skills at one of our state-of-the-art facilities. Flight Operations Support spacecraft flight and ground operations that keep space missions running. Work with mission and engineering teams to monitor systems, analyze operational data, and help prepare for mission execution. Your work will help keep critical space systems operating reliably in orbit. Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026-June 2027.
  • Passion for solving problems by leveraging data and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organization skills, detail oriented, and self-initiative.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
  • To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
