Applied Materials’ Office of the CTO is looking for an intern to join our Photonics Platform Business group in summer 2026. The position will entail some of or all the following: Follow the fabrication of photonics devices in the labs, ensuring all process steps are completed, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and analyze the metrology data collected throughout the flow. Analyze metrology and device data from the database, evaluating data trend and correlation. Look for ways to improve and/or automate the process. Improve existing scripts (Matlab, Python and/or JMP) and/or develop new ones, mainly for Data Analysis.
