Job Description: The Transfer Pricing team, part of the larger International Tax group, helps clients understand the global tax consequences of their operations. These business advisors specialize in solutions that span effective tax rate planning, transfer pricing, transaction services, supply chain and IP planning, controversy and compliance support, export incentives, and global mobility. Transfer pricing interns may assist with a variety of projects, including the preparation of financial models for intellectual property valuations, benchmarking studies, written reports and economic analyses.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with a concentration in Economics, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • At the start of the internship, eligible candidates must be within 6-15 months of completing coursework (Mid-June to Mid-August)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
  • Baker Tilly will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial statements analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, strategy evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis preferred
  • Technology-related coursework highly desirable
  • Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in professional setting
