As an intern in GID Multifamily, you will obtain practical experience by supporting teams in Portfolio and Asset Management, Debt Capital Markets, and Acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Anticipated graduation date: 2Q2028
  • Strong academic record
  • Aptitude for both quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data analysis tools is beneficial
  • Self-initiated and entrepreneurial mindset and intellectual curiosity

Responsibilities

  • GID's Multifamily team focuses on investing, managing, and developing multifamily properties in key markets.
  • As an intern in GID Multifamily, you will obtain practical experience by supporting teams in Portfolio and Asset Management, Debt Capital Markets, and Acquisitions.
  • Training Curriculum & Hands-on Experience: The internship offers hard-skill training in real estate investment, covering financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation.
  • Mentorship & Manager Support: Participants will have a manager and mentor to guide them, answer questions, and help manage their workload. They will provide career advice and feedback to ensure the intern's success.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership Exposure: Interns will collaborate closely with professionals across all levels, from Analysts to Senior Vice Presidents, gaining substantial exposure to GID's leadership team. This practical experience will offer valuable insights into strategic decision-making processes and daily operations within a high-growth firm.
  • Multifamily Knowledge: Interns will gain knowledge of the multifamily sector and the various asset classes and markets that comprise GID’s portfolios. Interns will engage in market research, data analysis, and financial modeling, learning to evaluate investment opportunities and asset performance.
  • Professional Development & Networking: Interns will take part in educational and social events designed for knowledge sharing, career development, and networking with GID’s professionals, fellow interns, and the leadership team.
  • Full-Time Rotational Opportunity (“Propeller Program”): Outstanding summer interns can join GID’s 20-month Propeller Program, rotating through departments like Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Acquisitions, and Debt Capital Markets. This program accelerates career growth and prepares participants for leadership roles within the company.
