About The Position
Responsible for assisting a fun and safe summer camp experience for children 10–14 years old while exploring Tampa Bay.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in biology, environmental science, marine science, outdoor education or elementary education
- Camp or Informal education experience (1 year of experience)
- Valid Driver's license with clear driving record required
Nice To Haves
- Customer service skills preferred
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Lifeguarding certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintains camper safety
- Responsible for assisting with activities that correspond to the camp theme
- Mentoring campers and teen volunteers
- Assist with group and individual camper behavior
- Drive a 15 passenger van
- Assists with upkeep and maintenance of travel camp related items
- Assists with light office work and other duties as assigned
