About The Position

As a Summer Camp teacher you will encourage growth and development through play, plan and prepare daily discussions and activities focusing on the weekly theme, and plan and prepare educational aspects to enhance the field trips. Foster imagination, use positive reinforcement techniques, help the children in your care build positive relationships, and help them grow physically, academically, socially, and emotionally. Ages of children- 5 who have completed kindergarten to 12 years old Daily field trips include splash pads, parks for organized sports, museums, local hikes, Bowling, arcades, movies, touring businesses in the area along with many more.

Requirements

• First aid and CPR
• Food handlers permit
• Ability to pass a background check
• Come to work every day with a positive attitude
• Be a team player and foster a culture of teamwork.
• Willingness to grow and improve
• Passionate about helping the children in your care and their families
• Effective communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• A self starter
• Positive in your interactions with other staff and Supervisors (no gossiping)
• Applicant must be able to pass a Utah CCL background check upon hire
