ADEC's summer camp is also a good opportunity for a motivated individual who loves being outdoors, working with children and having fun. ADEC’s services revolve around one mission: Helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find informed choice and possibility. We serve more than 1,200 individuals each year through more than a dozen programs, ranging from music therapy for children to supervised group living for adults. Summer Camp Support Staff is responsible for planning goal-centered activities designed to help children with disabilities reduce or eliminate the effects of their disability or illness. Staff will plan activities that will help children further develop mobility, social and interpersonal skills, academic skills, motor and perceptual skills, and communication skills.
