About The Position
The Laborer will perform various labor assignments involved in maintaining adequate housekeeping conditions around the plant facilities and grounds.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year industrial plant experience
- Ability to operate basic labor tools.
Responsibilities
- General plant janitorial tasks in an efficient and thorough manner.
- Responsible for building and grounds clean-up tasks such as weed cutting, lawn mowing, leaf raking and snow removal.
- Assure that work areas are kept in a neat and orderly manner to assure conditions that are acceptable according to good housekeeping and safety standards.
- Responsible for use of mobile equipment check-out and refueling.
- Minor maintenance of janitorial and associated equipment.
- Responsible for participation in safety audits, safety meetings and proper and accurate incident investigations.
- Responsible for participation in small group activities including High Impact Groups.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
