Summer Help-Plant Assembly
About The Position
Starting at $25.19/hr. on 1st shift and $28.44/hr on 2nd Shift! Shifts are 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday in many areas. Three-day weekends! This is a fantastic opportunity to earn next semester’s tuition. The Summer Help - Plant Assembly positions are full-time, temporary positions from May through August. Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly including wiring electrical components and assembling commercial laundry equipment. May perform various machine set-ups or adjustment and may operate production machines in the course of working on production process. May provide instruction or work set-up for less experienced production operators. May participate in routine testing or inspection activities as part of an assembly or production process. Must be able to perform a variety of jobs. You’ll have overtime opportunities to help you to save up all the money you can before you start a new semester! Assembly Departments: Monday – Thursday (Overtime Friday) 1st Shift: 5am – 3pm 2nd Shift: 3pm – 1am
Requirements
- Positive attitude with ability to function in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled
- Must be at least 18 years of age by start date
- Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
