  • High school graduate or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
  • 3rd or 4th year college student
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Credit must be in good standing.
  • Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professionalism while working with a group and ability to work independently.
  • Keep organized and accurate work papers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Engage with members, vendors and employees to achieve certain objectives.
  • Participate in the accounting cycle from identifying transactions to closing the books.
  • Proficiency with different accounting systems; what they do and how they interact.
  • Performs assigned miscellaneous job-related duties.
  • Completes all regulatory compliance assignments.
  • Participate in employee engagement events.
