About The Position

The summer intern will gain valuable insight into child support inventory workflows, best practices for inventory management, backlog reduction, and customer service. The intern’s work will help identity process improvement opportunities and highlight operational challenges that may require attention.

Nice To Haves

Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, particularly in working with a diverse group of individuals
Strong Project Management skills
Familiarity with Excel tools and formulas relevant to data analysis.
Understanding of basic charting and graphing tools in Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist the Regional Deputy Director in gathering and reviewing child support inventory and performance data.
Work with child support team leaders and assist with processing child support inventory to gain hands-on understanding of inventory movement and workflows.
Analyze inventory movement and backlog trends to support process improvement efforts.
Identify basic patterns and challenges related to inventory management and customer service.
Present findings to managers at the conclusion of the summer internship.
