Job Summary Position will provide intern with exposure to healthcare governance, organizational practices, laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry. Position may include duties in human resources, finance, healthcare laws and regulations, healthcare management and business administration. Position is responsible for completing assignments/projects as assigned by his/her preceptor throughout department and system rotations. Hybrid intern opportunity within the Marketing/Communications department. Intern will primarily work on writing/editing, social media and digital projects, project management, event planning/attendance, and packaging promotional items. This opportunity will allow for exposure to different campuses and service lines, such as: Communications/PR, Memorial Hermann Medical Group, TIRR, Ambulatory and Post Acute, Primary Care, Neurology, Sugar Land/Southwest and Katy/Cypress campuses. Open to bachelors (junior/senior) or masters students, with a major/minor in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or Advertising
