Nott Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Marketing Intern to support our ecommerce initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing the online customer experience, optimizing digital content, and supporting marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across our ecommerce platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, ecommerce operations, and data-driven decision-making within a B2B industrial distribution environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interest in ecommerce, digital marketing, and data analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Google Analytics or ecommerce platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts preferred
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) or ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating and optimizing product listings, including descriptions, images, and specifications
  • Support SEO efforts by conducting keyword research and implementing best practices across ecommerce content
  • Support website performance metrics analysis using tools such as Google Analytics and provide actionable insights
  • Help plan and execute digital campaigns (email, paid ads, social media) that drive ecommerce traffic
  • Conduct competitive research and identify opportunities for improvement in user experience and conversion rates
  • Assist with content creation, including blog posts, landing pages, and promotional materials
  • Support ongoing ecommerce projects, including platform enhancements and data cleanup
