Summary: Vaxcyte’s Summer Internship program offers students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience that complements their college curriculum with relevant hands-on work that can shape their future career pathing and interests. As a Project Management Intern for Vaxcyte, you will work on a project as outlined below: Support the New Team Member Onboarding process to ensure that new team members are setup to efficiently onboard into CMC Project Teams. Triage team member intake submissions and coordinating project alignment meetings. Ensure closeout of transition plans and identify opportunities for improvement in the current process. Assist with the development and delivery of New Team Member Onboarding training content. The Intern will learn and practice: Onboarding and transitioning responsibilities of individual team members within the governance structure. Managing rollout and alignment of transitions across active project teams. Educating team members on governance culture, responsibilities, and expectations. Use of project management tools and systems to track and implement the activities listed above. Program Details: The Internship will begin in June and will be around 10 weeks (8 hours per day) in duration at our San Carlos, California location.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) with a focus on Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, or related major.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and work quality.
  • Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork.
  • Enthusiastic-Shows curiosity and is eager to learn.
  • Dedicated.
