About The Position

Giant Noise is a Texas-based integrated marketing and advertising agency combining PR, creative, and marketing strategy to create newsworthy stories for our clients through earned media, social media management, influencer partnerships, and brand storytelling. We are seeking confident and communicative candidates with basic skills in copywriting and a high proficiency in Google Suite to join our Public Relations Summer Internship. This paid internship offers hands-on experience, giving the intern meaningful exposure to a variety of successful public relations campaigns.

Requirements

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• High proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Understanding of industry terminology and competitive landscape.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidates will be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly status reports and client wrap-up reports
• Research media outlets for client media opportunities
• Create and manage media lists on Muckrack database
• Draft cover letters, media alerts, and additional press materials
• Pull, manage, and organize clips/press hits
• Attend and staff client events as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks and organization digitally and in-office
