Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2026 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value-driven, fun-focused retail. We are seeking energetic, responsible go-getters with innovative ideas, ready to actively participate in company initiatives. We LOVE our interns! Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Our program is hands-on, engaging in meaningful work that directly contributes to the company’s missions and ultimate success. You are an active contributor and valued as a part of your team! For more than two decades, our Real Estate team has stored new store deal materials—including investment analysis proformas—on a mapped network drive. As part of a broader effort to modernize and centralize documentation, these materials are being migrated to SharePoint. In this project, the intern will support the transfer of historical and ongoing deal materials into a centralized SharePoint environment. The intern will help organize and standardize documentation for each store location, identify potential data or document gaps, and refine an organizational structure that supports future reporting and analytics. This work will directly support the FP&A Real Estate Analytics team’s ability to build a structured database pipeline for long-term analysis. The intern will work closely with the Real Estate team’s broader SharePoint centralization initiative, ensuring that investment proformas and related deal materials are properly categorized and easily searchable within the system.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled as rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad with a relevant background, preferable studying Real Estate, Business, or Finance.
  • Those studying under an associate’s certificate or similar program may be considered if coursework and skills fit the individual project requirements.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software.
  • Must be available for the full 10-week program as space is limited
  • Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
  • Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
  • Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!

Nice To Haves

  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Interest or background in corporate, commercial real estate
  • Knowledge or experience using SharePoint or similar organizational cloud software

Responsibilities

  • Organize and validate available deal materials for each store location within SharePoint
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in historical documentation
  • Develop a standardized structure for storing and categorizing real estate deal materials
  • Compile statistics on the completeness of deal material sets across locations
  • At the conclusion of the program, the intern will present their work, highlighting the efficiencies created through the SharePoint transition and providing a visual summary of deal material completeness.
  • The presentation will also demonstrate how the improved system will support Real Estate Analytics moving forward.
