About The Position

The Opportunity We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to help take real spacecraft hardware from concept to flight readiness. Interns at Lux Aeterna design circuits, build hardware, run tests, and help solve real flight problems. You will work directly with our team to create a reusable spacecraft’s electrical system that must survive launch, operate on orbit, safely return to Earth, and be refurbished in preparation for the next launch. The role spans avionics, power systems, harnessing, test equipment, and hands-on problem solving . This is a unique opportunity to: Work on real flight hardware in addition to prototypes and engineering units Be a member of a small and agile team pushing the limits of space innovation Participate in spacecraft build, integration, and test activities Debug issues discovered during integration and testing Learn how spacecraft electrical systems are developed in a rapid hardware environment The Role You will support responsible engineers for the first time assembly, test, debug, and delivery of EM and flight electrical hardware. Interns are expected to engage directly with hardware and help drive progress of overall spacecraft maturity.
