About The Position
Trans-Matic Manufacturing is seeking High School or College students who enjoy mechanical, hands-on work. If you enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together, this Summer Co-Op is for you!
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter and adaptable.
- Passion for hands-on work and problem-solving.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must be 18 years old or 17 years old and be able to obtain a work-based learning permit from the Allegan or Ottawa Careerline Technical Centers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of tasks under supervision.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures.
- Assist with quality checks.
- Assist Eyelet Journeyman Toolmakers with maintaining press coolant, oils, scrap removal, etc.
