About The Position

The Partnership Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a coalition of environmental organizations focused on supporting the collaborative efforts of the environmental community. Our programs focus on critical environmental issues including climate change, emissions reduction, and environmental and climate justice. We provide fiscal sponsorship to our programs, empowering them to undertake the vital work of preserving our planet. Guided by our core principles of Equity, Integrity, Service, and Innovation, we are committed to fostering a healthy environment- both within our workplace and in the broader world. Through these values, we strive to make a meaningful contribution to creating a sustainable and positive impact on our planet and an inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their full and authentic self to do this critical, life-sustaining work. The Clean Vehicles Campaign (CVC) is an unbranded coalition of more than 60 groups from various areas dedicated to advancing policies to reduce pollution from cars, trucks, buses and other vehicles. The Campaign works to leverage existing infrastructure, resources, and assets and collaborates with allied coalitions. In the next year, the Campaign seeks to accelerate the drive to a zero-emission future in the transportation sector with a robust U.S. manufacturing sector, strong vehicle standards, and equitable resource deployment. Scope: The Program Fellow will work alongside 60+ organizations on the transition to zero-emission vehicles. The Program fellow will have the opportunity to engage multiple stakeholders, including partnering with those leading this work internationally. This role will support project coordination, partner communications, materials development, meeting support, and research. A major highlight of this role is the opportunity to be at the forefront of the global transition to zero-emission vehicles. You’ll play an essential part in designing and delivering dynamic training programs for international staff driving this change. From conducting initial interviews to shaping compelling training materials and providing hands-on support, you’ll help empower teams around the world with the knowledge and tools they need to lead the future of clean transportation. The Summer Program Fellow is responsible for scheduling and tracking partner engagement, drafting and editing campaign materials, supporting virtual and in-person meetings, and conducting research to inform campaign strategy and outreach.
