About The Position

Overview The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for seasonal Lifeguards at the YMCA. The salary range is $16.50-$18.00 per hour based on experience. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. Responsibilities Advocate for the safety and wellbeing of our members and guests, and keep our Y's pool a friendly, welcoming environment for all to play, learn and build confidence in the water. Ensure the safety of participants while they are in or near the pool or hot tub. General maintenance and cleanliness of the pool, water testing and general problem-solving. Relate positively to a variety of people including other staff, members, program participants, and children. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 16 years of age. If you are 15, please apply as a Junior Lifeguard. Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR Certifications. Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful. Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired. Requirements

  • Minimum of 16 years of age.
  • Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR Certifications.
  • Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful.
