About the position

Are you passionate about MCLA, love social media, and want to help tell the MCLA story? The MCLA Communications, Marketing, and Admissions teams are launching an exciting program for students who want to create and share content about the MCLA experience! As a Social Media Ambassador, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own ambassador Instagram account, share your unique perspective, and help support MCLA's Admissions efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own ambassador Instagram account.
• Share your unique perspective about the MCLA experience.
• Create content for MCLA's Instagram and potentially TikTok.
• Commit to creating 1-2 pieces of content per week.
• Participate in regular check-ins with program coordinators.
• Contribute creatively to MCLA's social storytelling.

Requirements

• Proficient in Instagram and familiar with creating engaging content.
• Involved in varied activities and interests and comfortable sharing their journey publicly on social media.
• Willing to create a new Instagram handle specifically for this program.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and commitment to accuracy in all assigned work.
• Strong customer service and time management skills.
• Commitment to represent MCLA with professionalism and energy.

Nice-to-haves

• TikTok experience is a bonus.
