About The Position
Pend Oreille County PUD #1 provides residential, commercial, and industrial utility services (electric, water, broadband) to County residents. The District also owns and operates Box Canyon Dam, located just a few miles north of the town of Ione, approximately one hour north of the District’s headquarter offices in Newport, WA. The District will have the following summer employment opportunities for those students who are eligible and qualified ( see guidelines for additional information ). The term of employment for these positions is approximately three months and may begin as early as mid-May (depending on school schedules).
