About The Position

Summer Video Editor/Animator Intern If you’re interested in being a Video Editor/Animator intern at Bader Rutter , you need to be fearless and ready to bring ideas to life through motion. If you’re great at collaborating with team members and translating concepts into compelling video, animation and visual storytelling, you’ll fit right in with our creative team. You would work with and learn from a wide range of talented people here at BR, including art directors, copywriters, designers, producers, production artists and video editors. While our focus is on our clients, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to jump in, contribute and be part of our culture. There will be opportunities to work behind the camera as well shooting video or photography. We’re looking for someone who: Is a self-starter with curiosity and a strong work ethic Has a portfolio or reel showcasing video editing, motion graphics, animation, or photography and photograph retouching Thinks visually and understands pacing, timing and composition Wants to help bring the next big idea to life through motion Has a sense of humor with an open and curious mind Loves interacting with brands and keeping up with content and social trends Is curious about how to translate audience needs and wants into engaging, smart video content Is a full-time student or recent grad studying film, animation, motion design, digital media, graphic design or a related discipline Responsibilities: Editing and animating video content that supports campaigns, and social and digital experiences Shooting video or photography on internal projects, with photo retouching if applicable Collaborating with art directors, copywriters, designers and producers to bring ideas to life Supporting multiple projects at different stages of production, from concept through final delivery Incorporating feedback thoughtfully while maintaining strong attention to detail and craft Internship Details: Internship runs 6/2/26 through mid-August Hourly rate is $18 for current students and $20 for post-grads Intern should be in greater Milwaukee for the summer and plan to be in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Only candidates who upload a video reel or animation samples, or include a portfolio link, will be considered
