About The Position

We are currently seeking a Superintendent – Marine, Buildings, Heavy Haul & Heavy Lift to join our team based in Houston, TX. About the role: Main Accountabilities: Plan, sequence, and supervise all marine and building construction activities along with heavy haul and heavy lift activities. Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with construction management, engineering, and subcontractors. Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules. Manage interfaces between works and other disciplines (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation). Quality Control Ensure compliance with quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and project specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and documentation. Identify and resolve field discrepancies, non-conformances, and rework issues. Subcontractor & Workforce Management Supervise subcontractors and direct-hire craft personnel executing the work. Verify subcontractor compliance with scope, schedule, safety, and quality requirements. Review work permits, work packs, and method statements prior to execution. Foster a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environment. Field Coordination & Reporting Coordinate material deliveries, laydown areas, and equipment mobilization. Assist with constructability reviews and resolution of field design issues. Maintain daily logs, reports, and timesheets as required. Support punch list closure, system turnover, and project closeout activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade education preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marine construction supervision on industrial or large infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in major marine scopes such as pile driving, dredging, break water construction and jetty construction
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and work packaging.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills in a multi-contractor environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours, night shifts, and rotations as required
