As an Adult Day Program Supervisor at SOAR365, you do more than manage operations; you act as a champion for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive life-changing support in our Day Support program. Requirements

  • at least five years of experience in human services or a related field
  • proven track record of leading or supervising teams
  • skillfully manage staff schedules
  • implement individualized service plans
  • foster a creative, collaborative team environment
  • deep understanding of the needs of persons with disabilities-including the application of positive behavioral supports and knowledge of Medicaid and licensure regulations
  • exceptional organizational skills for documentation
  • valid Virginia Driver's License
  • ability to obtain Medication Administration certification within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • comprehensive management of staff, programming, and administrative operations
  • recruiting, training, and evaluating Direct Support Professionals
  • ensuring all team members remain compliant with mandatory certifications, such as CPR/First Aid and medication administration
  • designing purposeful activities
  • managing budgets and supplies
  • fostering relationships with stakeholders and families to expand opportunities for participants
  • ensuring operational excellence through meticulous documentation auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and agency safety policies
  • filling in as needed to provide direct support and ensure the seamless delivery of mission-aligned services
