The Budget Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, monitoring, and management of the organization’s budget. This role ensures financial resources are allocated efficiently, spending aligns with organizational goals, and all budget activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Budget Supervisor provides analytical support, financial reporting, and guidance to departments to ensure effective budget execution. This role also supports compliance activities, including coordinating information for the annual IRS Form 990 tax filing and the oversight of a Cloud Finops position. The role also provides leadership and supervision to budget and finance staff. This position requires the incumbent to work closely with senior staff, directors and the managers of business units throughout the organization and various external stakeholders. This position also requires knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IRS regulations, and FERC ratemaking and accounting.
