What you get to do: As a Building Automation Controls Supervisor, you will Create and maintain scheduling for all building automation controls technicians. Coach, mentor, direct, constructively criticize, and objectively evaluate subordinate support personnel. Direct personnel in performing short-term and permanent repairs to a variety of control systems. Specify equipment to ensure reliable and redundant operation is maintained. Order products, supplies to support the team while maintaining budget. Interface with other park professionals as well as outside clients and contractors to ensure facility is maintained to standards. Maintain ongoing communication with department managers regarding status of projects and operations of systems. Perform routine daily inspections of all control systems in the park. Troubleshooting and repair control systems in the park. Set up and install control systems for new and existing units. Set up schedule and adjust set points for controls with minimal supervision. Perform bench and field repair of control systems throughout the park. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Electrical wiring/devices, motor overhauls and maintenance/troubleshooting of controls and other automated equipment and monitoring devices. Utilize the necessary tools required by this position including but not limited to: Multimeter, Network testers, basic hand tools, drills, saws, and other devices. Perform duties including but not limited to safety, environmental, asset management and other administrative documentation. Use chemicals and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Utilize safe handling, storage, and disposal practices with toxic substances and hazardous waste. Responsible for adhering to all training related to SOP’s, safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required including assisting other locations, departments, and areas in the park, as needed. Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment. Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests. Occasionally assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment. Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • 5+ years working experience with Delta Controls and GCL programming years or applicable experience.
  • Ability to bend and run various conduit types.
  • Ability to draft reports and business correspondence.
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License to meet our company’s driving guidelines
  • Working knowledge of HVAC Systems including Hydronics and Air systems.
  • Electrical experience in Low voltage controls, devices and installation.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on and interpret manufacturers’ manuals.
  • Possess or be able to obtain certification to operate mechanical devices including, forklift, man-lift within 90 days of acceptance of position and maintain certification.
  • Excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectation, and needs.
  • Ability to work through problems using various troubleshooting methods.
  • Have a working knowledge of various building/installation codes as well as OSHA regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong Mathematical skills.
  • Working knowledge of all hand/specialty tolls and power tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
