Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Minimum of 7 years related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Technical expertise in nuclear plant maintenance.
• Deep understanding of NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) standards.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
• Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, monitors and controls the work activities of the group in accordance with customer requirements and company policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• May recommend wage adjustment or change of status.
• Supervises group's performance to complete projects within budget and schedule.
• Provides technical guidance to employees.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.
• Travel as required.
